Tune in live here for the event livestream.

The debate over which viable energy sources and transitional fuels are best suited to replace coal while maintaining energy security and meeting global emissions targets is one of this year’s largest climate and foreign policy questions. While global leaders have agreed to transition away from fossil fuels, questions remain about what that actually means in practice as global energy demand and temperatures continue to rise.

Join Axios at Climate Week & UNGA for an event convening global climate, energy and policy leaders for conversations looking at how governments and businesses are working to achieve their net zero goals and the realistic next steps to speed deployment of alternatives to coal. We’ll also zoom in on how these debates are informing larger conversations about global energy reliability, security and affordability.
